To maintain diversity we accept no more than 3 vendors from different companies offering the same product and/or service excluding festival sponsors. We reserve the right to refuse space to a vendor if we already have vendors selling the same product or deem the product inappropriate.
The criteria for selection, in order of priority is as follows:
1. Festival sponsor
2. Historic downtown merchant
3. Seniority – past participation in any above festival
(if application submitted before deadline)
4. Date of receipt of application and payment in full
5. Other factors…
Applications will be reviewed and selected per event by the special events staff. Minimum deadline is two months prior to each event.
Vendors Wanted for the Following Events:
Taste of Downtown – Join the fun, take a walking tour of Downtown Ukiah, and enjoy a taste of the bounty of Mendocino County on Friday, June 20th, 2008! Taste dozens of world-renowned local wines, microbrews, brandies, and more. Our unique and quaint Downtown Ukiah merchants host the tasting. The festival, which attracts more that 2,500, takes place from 5-8 pm. Vendor fees are $50/arts & crafts $75/food
Fabulous Flashback Car Show – Enjoy the crowning glory of Summer fun by attending Ukiah’s yearly Antique and Classic Car Show, organized by the Early Iron of Ukiah Pre ’59 Car Club http://www.earlyironofukiah.com/html/fabulous.shtml, and sponsored by the Ukiah Main Street Program, City of Ukiah, and many local businesses. The Fabulous Flashback Car Show, which attracts more than 5,000, is held Saturday, September 13th on School Street and at the Alex R. Thomas Plaza. Vendor fees are $75/arts & crafts $125/food
Ukiah’s Country Pumpkinfest - The Country Pumpkinfest, which attracts more than 10,000 people, blends a harvest and music festival into the Halloween holiday, this annual event will be held October 18-19 2008. Along with a variety of delicious foods, the streets of Downtown Ukiah are filled with craft vendors, fine arts exhibits, and “Scarecrow City”. Enjoy live music, a country fiddle contest and the ever-popular children’s carnival including many games and amusements. Vendor fees are $125/arts & crafts $250/food
Main Street Craft Market - On November 28th, 2008 we invite you to take advantage of the opportunity to be a part of a vast array of entertainment. Advertising is planned to entice shoppers to browse your beautiful, unique, handcrafted gifts and listen to holiday music in a jolly environment. The arts and crafts market will take place on the sidewalks surrounding the courthouse in Downtown Ukiah. In addition to the market, downtown merchants will provide cider, cocoa, and cookies. Santa’s helpers will be on hand passing out Downtown Dollars creating a festive atmosphere. Please join us in making downtown a gathering place for all. Vendor fees are $15/arts & crafts $25/food
